With Surfshark as well as numerous other apps, I often see issues particular to a specific user, due to their configuration and other apps that may be interfering. I didn't see OP asking for help - only a list of complaints. Doesn't work properly with WireGuard open source app all the time (more like hit-and-miss).Speed varies terribly while connected, no matter what is the server load. I cannot set a country and the fastest among states.The speed is barely usable, and I feel like I am back in 1990.Many protocols disappear frequently, so I cannot set one I get the maximum speed all the time.Protocols like UDP are not available on Mac.Clean web is another pain where most of the renowned sites don't work, such as LinkedIn learning.I am forced to install the bloody bloat AV with VPN, which I will never use.It doesn't stay on the system tray automatically, need to manually close the window during startup.Browser extensions do not provide a kill switch, so I am leaking my IP as it drops connection frequently.Features are not consistent throughout different OS, e.g., mac doesn't have a kill switch.So I am being interrupted many times a day. Kill switch is a pain as it drops the connection all of a sudden and remains disconnected despite the auto connection being turned on.It refuses connection for 24 hours several times a week.Things I have been facing which are not solved with a handful of customer support chats. I am regretting why I didn't take the deal of Proton VPN!!! ![]() The first 30 days were considerable if you compare the price. The pain will increase once the 30 days are over. You are screwed from the day you bought it. This is not a VPN, but a pain in the ass. Now I am regretting every moment why I did not ask for a refund.
